Picking the best rug for your kitchen

Kitchens are undoubtedly one of the most used spaces in our homes. Not just as a place to cook meals and eat, but also as a point of entertainment. From cooking large dinners for the family to hosting parties, there really aren’t many days where your kitchen goes unused.  

When taking into account how much time we spend in our kitchens, it’s important to take a number of things into consideration when picking the perfect rug. You will ideally need a rug which not just adds a beautiful stye and provides comfort to walk on, but also one which is sturdy and will protect your kitchen floor. Understandably, many people find it difficult to find the right rug to suit their kitchen mainly due to restrictions on size or finding a rug which is sturdy enough to withstand all the foot traffic and potential stains which may occur.

A plastic rug is the perfect type of rug to have to protect your floors from all these potential hazards. These rugs are very easy to clean as it traps dirt between its weaves. If there’s a build up of dirt or a lot of crumbs all you need to do is take it outside and give it a good shake.
