However, choosing a rug for a blue sofa can sometimes be trickier than if the rug were paired with a white sofa or another color. WHITE RUG FOR BLUE SOFA

The first option we have is a white rug. What doesn't go well with a white rug? It's hard to say. A white rug comes in many different forms, short pile, long pile, patterned or completely plain. You might want to go for the same material that resembles the material on your sofa, creating a good combination. Or maybe you're interested in something completely different. Both work, and it's up to you to find out what works well with other colors and furniture in the home.

Our second option is to buy a rug in a similar color or in a different shade.

As you can see here, we have chosen to go with a blue rug with a blue sofa. This creates a nice cohesive where the color takes up a larger part of the room and thus attracts a little more attention from the eyes. In the example above, you see a shag rug that has different shades of the color blue depending on how the pile lies. This creates a nice contrast in color and makes it a little varied depending on how the shag rug is placed.

The third option we have is a classic Wilton rug. A Wilton rug is a rug with a unique print on it. The unique thing about these rugs is that they come in all different shapes. Another thing we want you to think about is what type of pile would fit well. As we mentioned before, we have long pile, short pile, and rugs with both where unique patterns are created depending on how long the pile is in certain places on the rug.

Some other things to consider:

Different types of blue sofas will fit different rugs better or worse. Some rugs will fit more or less well with a dark blue sofa than with a light blue sofa.

How big is your blue sofa? Remember to measure your rug and sofa before deciding what to buy. Remember that some types of special rugs in a certain color are only available in a few sizes, which can make it difficult to match them well with the sofa.

Some other quick advice we can give you is that some rugs are easier or harder to clean. The ones that are easier are those made of jute, sisal, and plastic, while the more complicated ones are those made of wool, shag, and kilim.
